When it comes to my absolute favorite restaurant in Düsseldorf, the answer is simple: Chic. This place is the ultimate trifecta of a perfect night out. The vibrant location, the wonderful people, the outstanding drinks, and a culinary concept centered around incredible food made for sharing. Whether you are planning an intimate dinner date for two or a lively evening out with a group, Chic comes with my highest recommendation.

To capture the raw, energetic, and unpretentious vibe of the space, I documented our evening using a classic point-and-shoot setup: my trusty Canon AF35M loaded with Kodak Gold 200 film. Relying on a sharp, direct on-camera flash allowed me to pull out the beautiful, gritty textures of their patterned tile tables, the sleek stainless steel lines of the open kitchen, and the rich, saturated colors of the dishes. The resulting analog series feels entirely candid, alive, and nostalgic.
